Born in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu (Quebec, Canada), Andre Delage took classical piano lessons from 1971 to 1973. During the same period, he was organist at the Saint-Edmond Church in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu.
In 1973, he won first prize for piano at the graduation concert and contest at Armand-Racicot high school in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu.
He played keyboards for the progressive band Igor from 1976 to 1978, a band composed of former members of the progressive band Incubus (later known as ExCubus).
In October of 2005, he performed along side former members of the group Gentle Giant at Quebec City’s Le Gorgg.
Between September 2006 and today, he gave numerous concerts consisting of different kinds of music, including the music of Genesis for solo piano, playing exclusively pieces from the Peter Gabriel and Steve Hackett period. Amongst the concerts at which he performed, he was the opening act for the progressive band JellyFiche (at the Lion d’Or in Montreal).
In September of 2008, he participated in the concert to launch Quebec’s progressive band ExCubus (formely Incubus) first CD. He also took part in the Festival de musique progressive de Montreal, playing as part of ExCubus in September of 2009.
In November of the same year, Andre is back on stage once again, this time with Pierre-Armand Tremblay and Chantal Blanchais, amongst others, all members of Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu’s April Jam, to celebrate their 15th anniversary.
